    255 85R16s on 16 Inch Split rims

Not a 60, but my BJ42 has run used 255/85r16 BFG MTs (original KMs) on 16" splits since Dec 2010. Not sure of the mileage covered, but I just did 300+ mile R/T (all highway) at 60-65 mph with no issues. Last year I drove to the Outer Banks in NC (600+ miles R/T), again no issues despite being...

For Sale  Set of 5 16" Aussie split rims - MD

For sale - set of (5) 16" splits from my 1981 BJ42. Approx. 30" tires are mounted, and most of them have been holding air for a couple of years now. One has been spray painted black. What is the correct bolt for 3B Exhaust Manifold?

So what's the definitive answer? 6 studs/bolts are what size? 2 longer bolts (bottom center on 13BT manifold) are what size? If I read correctly, 2 of the "M10-1.25 x 45mm J.I.S. Small Head Hex Flange Bolts" are what's needed for the thicker section? I need these to finish my turbo conversion.

    HJ47 Interior Dimensions

Anyone got the interior dimensions of a troopie? Specifically: rear opening (door height and width), floor to ceiling, floor width, width (above wheel wells), and length from rear doors to front seats. This would be helpful to have for other vehicles as well, for folks interested in comparing...

2H Questions from a new owner!

After selling my FJ60 and getting an FJ40, since sold as well, I've been wanting to get back into the LC game. Then I came upon all those HJ47's on ebay and I'm seriously considering one. Just as you all, I'd do a turbo, OME and 33's, as well as try to find ways to lighten it up a bit to...

    Wanted FJ60 Manual

I'm concentrating on the body AS WELL as the motor. I am anti-gasoline, I just built my biodiesel processor and want to go that route. I'll drive it as long as I can like this, but if I can find a motor and at least get it to my house....

    Wanted FJ60 Manual

Any 3B's for sale? I just bought a '79FJ40...it will probably get a new aluminum tub first, but I'd like to convert to a diesel at the same time while the body's off. Mechanically it's top-notch. Anyone have a rusted out BJ for sale, or a source for a complete motor and associated...

    Cat on Diesel?

I'm looking for a diesel cat Something that will reduce the NOx, not necessarily carbon dioxide or monoxide, or even particulates as I plan to run bio. One manufacturer stated simply...cats do work on diesels, and very well...they have them for Cruisers at about $400-900. To reduce nitrous...

    Converting FJ60 to BJ60-legality?

I can't for the life of me find anywhere on Maryland's Motor Vehicles site that says how this is achieved. It's late and I can't call, but I've got my 1987 FJ60 here with no motor, and have found about 7 BJ60s in Canada...typical situation good drivetrain lots of rust. So importing is...

    Treehugger propaganda

any company making disposable packaging should pay for cleanup If you make something that is discarded after a single use, not even consumed, but discarded then you should be held accountable. A nutrient of sorts, wasted...it could've gone back into the loop to make more bottles...t We...
