Is your 100 your favorite vehicle?

60 series.. hands down . Underrated. Understated. Rough in all aspects.. Jack of all trades, but master of none. Tough as nails don’t get me wrong.. the 100 is nice but doesn’t even begin to approach the legendary 60.

    Radiator -- Koyorad or Toyota

Just pulled a newer leaking denso unit and replaced with OEM. So worth the price of mind for the extra 250$ When opening the package .. the words out of my mouth to my wife were “this is a work of ART”. The packaging alone..

    Noob Dilemma

Don’t think of it as an investment. It’s not. and no, you won’t get out of it what you put in, in relative terms. The LC without a doubt will be more costly to own and maintain than their 4R. Having said that.. the LC is a very special vehicle.. and it’s all about the experience IMO.. not...

new engine for the FJ62 at some point.

Do a UZ or Toyota diesel. I did a LS before they became super popular 60 swaps.. now I’m looking at going back to all Toyota. No real issues with the LS it’s been very reliable. Just becoming more of a purist in my old age You can buy standalone UZ harness/cpu so dont let that scare you...

FJ62 No Heat and It’s our 1 year anniversary

Try flushing the heater core. Disconnect heater hoses at the firewall and flush with garden hose ( not full blast ) in both directions

Need to replace my 86 60's radiator - any recommendations?

Just a data point . Recommend .. ? Meh I’ve been running the same Champion aluminum 3 row rad for about ten years now after sending the first one back after it leaked out of the box. Fit was not 100 percent .. needed a little trimming or drilling IIRC. But lifetime warranty hard to beat and...

    Loose and Rattling Rear Hatch

Unless the hatch and latch has been absolutely ragged on .. I would not think it needs any adjustments. Try the rubber bits first IMO

    Loose and Rattling Rear Hatch

There are two bumpers on either side of interior facing glass hatch. They are located in such a way that they will apply pressure against the tailgate and latch when it is close and prevent rattling etc. I’d be willing to bet you are missing one or more and/or they have been distorted to such...

    2005 with nav replacement/upgrade

My problem with the factory nav is that it sucks to keep the big old ugly screen just to basically keep AC function. The NAV is worthless IMO There’s gotta be a better way to do it
