Ever since I purchased the 2006 100 it has pulled to the right. Looking back at the dealer records indicates that the previous owner had returned the truck for service for the same problem, but all the dealership did was check the alignment...so as a place to start to figure this issue out - as...
The parts and supplies are in.
Guess I'll jump in with both feet and see where this takes me. Read and re-read the rebuild procedure many times so I'm pretty confident that I'm somewhat sketchy on this whole repair, which in turn finds me moving forward anyway.
Changed the gear oil on the front diff, but what came out was knuckle grease...so the question (Since I'm a little short this month $$$) can I still drive the rig for a while..a month or so with the axle seals leaking? :meh:
Well...we mounted CV Kurts new MT Bumper and Superwinch today. Install was fairly easy with no issues. Kurt still has to wire the winch and remote mount the solenoid, but most of the work is completed.
As I need to replace (at least) the CV boot on the 06' LC and CV Kurt needs to install his new winch, would the club be interested in a day of :wrench: wrenching and Cheer, Beer, Food etc.) I'll make my house available and pick up the food and drink tab if interested?

So my Metal Tech Sliders arrived on Monday. The freight company (Reddaway) ripped them off the pallet. Some scrapes but no damage. These are very well made and I'm looking forward to the install.

First impressions is this thing is nothing...
Well since summer has arrived my carb has been acting up with the heat so I wanted to try a carb fan, but they did not make one for my late 68' FJ40 so I made one up using a bilge fan. Stopped by West Marine where they had a 135cfm 12vdc fan for around $35. Mounted the fan to a piece of scrap...
Don't know much about what a good deal would be on lockers. I know I would like to install one set on the rear of the 69'.

When can you legally go and cut a Christmas tree, last year there was a run, but I can't remember when. I do remember there was a lot of snow up in them dar hills.
So I want to purchase an Engine Stand and need some input as to what to purchase. I wanted to use it to rebuild the 2F Sean has available and then onto the F motor in the 69'. Summit has many types and prices available so I'm not sure which one will fit the bill.
