I have a 72 with a SOR Sportbar and a Bestop. There is still about 1 1/2 inch between the hoops in the middle and it will fold all the way back without a problem. A wind shield hoop will not cause any problems but a full rear cage will be in the way of folding the top. If you want the full cage...
You won't regret a DUI distributor. The best thing GM ever created, made better by the guys at DUI and it drops right into your block. One wire hook up. If you ever break anything there are hundred of manufacturers of replacement and upgrade parts.
I have installed Pertronix modules in many...
hard to move the shifter or hard to get in a gear.
Hard shifter is dirty top end. A couple hours to clean up and cheap.
Hard to get into gear is worn syncros. Rebuilt for a few hundred in parts.
You forgot Glamis. Somebody you will be dealing with in SD will have quads or a sand rail, or you can rent them. Thousands of acres of dunes. Miles of trails. You can go fast and fly high with little fear of breaking something. There are many MUDDers in that area toys to play in the sand. That...
Yes, I think a few poeple got confused.
Use brake fluid to lube the rubber cups when rebuilding any brake parts.
Adjuster screws, disc slides, attaching hardware, even under the shoe retainers I have used 3M Anti-seize/Brake lube for 20 years on everything from minibikes to Mack trucks.
The automotive grade paints are expensive and for the undercarriage the Rustoleum would be fine. Rustoleum is an enamel with a slow cure reducer and a small amount of hardener in it. Add 5% of a fast(low tempurature)reducer and a few ounces of hardener and it will dry like any automotive paint...
I'll come take it out of your garage if you don't want it, I could be there in 20 minutes.
It looks very interesting, and nobody know anything about it.
The heat from the bearing failure has weakend the spindle. you can reasemble it with new bearing but they are not going to last long. You can expect the same thing to happen about once a year till you replace the spindle.
I have to agree with Poser. This is one of the things that it is not that hard to do it the right way. The cops are not going to stop you and inspect your cruiser, they stop the big rigs for stuff like this. If you cause an accident because of faulty brake lines that you have fabricated that do...
You just can't beat mechanically separated meat product, artifical smoke flavor and assorted protein, pressed into rib shaped patty, frozen then microwaved.
Nummy!
Those are a heavy bead tire used on 20" split rims(bolt together double bead lock style). They are mounted on trucks with a CTIS. They are completely different from a 20" passenger car tire. Where did you get these things? They are military only.
The South has to smother their meat with sauce.
Texas smokes it till its jerky.
I have gotten used to Santa Maria style, dry rub with garlic, pepper, and parsley then grilled over an oak pit. The flavor is in the meat then, not it what you put on it.
So, Hijacking avatars and mollesting signatures today. Steve may be an annoying little s*** but Liam playing Steve is even more annoying. It's going to be a good day.
71-74 had one and 75-84 is a different one, but the only difference is the style of windshield hooks and bumpers used. The parts are more readily available for the later hood including cool things like stainless hooks.
Having to choke an engine to keep it running is not a solution. Timing is not related to fuel mixture, it is relative to valve timing and engine load. Running lean is a serious problem. You are getting good gas mileage but any sustained highway driving with a lean carb will cause valve erosion...
