Odd, I put in "hand crank" and not a damn thing came up in the first 15 pages! Strange!
Thank you very much. This has been an excellent learning opportunity. I'll have to fab up one of those brackets now. :D
any other shots of that bracket?? My 40 has a horrible abortion of a front frame, was used as a plow truck (!!!) in CO... And is there a factory procedure described somewhere for using the crank? My factory literature is sparse as yet. :D
I love the idea of having a hand crank. Glad I...
I searched, and found nothing. :D
So who's used their hand cranks? How did it go? Is there supposed to be support somewhere in the front for the shaft? I'd go look but my 40 is inaccessible at the moment.
out of a 1971 FJ40 that someone apparently was converting to floor shift? NO SHIFTER FOR THE T-CASE!
$100 for both?
ship from 84074, but it would be great if you can come get it. :D

split front bench, recovered and repadded I guess. black/white checked fabric, slightly dirty but no tears or wear or anything.
Driver's slider frame has a boogery section, looks like it was torched out of something maybe.. but it's repairable without much trouble I don't think... passenger...
off a '71 FJ40:
transfer case range selector lever and all the linkage down to the case. missing the shifter diaphragm assembly though. :(
vacuum apparatus, this was capped at the case, I guess someone was switching to floor shift but never finished??
anyway, $10 for what I've got. ...
Waterford, Ellsworth, Vicious, Brooklyn Machine Works, Ventana, Seven, Merlin, Independent, Surly, Cove, etc. Chris King for bearing bits. Race Face has been totally stand-up to me, can't say enough about how decent they are.
I don't like proprietary stuff. Cannondale LOVES proprietary parts-- Headshock, the old Magic cranks, the Lefty, etc.
That said, if you like it, and can deal with those issues, they're kind of neat, and seem to work alright. Cannondale has been using them for around 10yrs now, so I guess...
Maybe someone here can use this.
early Ranger UNDER drive.. fits SM465 trannies. I want to say this is like 8" long, but I'll have to dig it out of the garage first. This is a great way to keep highway gearing but still have useful offroad ratios.
New ones are like $1500, I'd take $400 for...
