I just replaced my rear hatch power door lock actuator with the Aisin DLT088, which was the same as the drivers (US) side rear power door lock actuator. The post was spot on and the replacement worked like new! Since the actuator failure is due to the crack of the swingarm that holds it to the...
Im also in the market for a new dual zone fridge/freezer. Since I’ve only had single zones fridge/freezers and in general, they are power hungry in freezer mode. How well does the large dual zone fridge (over 60L) do in term of power? Im planning for some trips over a week and prefer not fire...
One of my Hikari LED just failed after 3 years. I've ordered a different LED replacement and am looking for the rear extended dust cover. Anyone have a lead on one that works with the AFS?
My kids came home on their first ride in the 97 LX450. I researched LATCH solutions and ended ordering the tether anchor adaptor that was sold by Canadian Honda. It was just a cargo hook that hooks into the seat latch post in the floor to form a tether point. I used this in conjunction with...
I'm currently fighting my front seat not moving due to the same problem as Phil. My seat has been worked on once before about 10 years ago with the replacement gear from Gamiviti. I took it apart and the gears inside were sloppy and missing the rubber washer. The gear box assembly is as...
I recently had mine repainted due to the clear coat peeling and the fading/rusting on the bumpers. It has gone from mine to both kids' and now back to being my DD. I took this opportunity to remove the factory luggage rack and replace it with a bowfin rack. I'll probably never recuperate the...
flush mount LED lights from Amazon. The vender and item are not longer on there, but any flush mount LED light should work. I just put a bracket behind the bumper to hold the light in the bumper.
I replaced the flasher with an LED flasher that had extension wires. Plug in the wires with the terminals matching the old flasher relay on the diagram. Zip tie the LED flasher inside the kick panel and worked great with my new LED lights.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I will probably just fix the head/timing on the engine and put it back together if it looked good. Also for the transmission.
The uHaul car trailer was only $10 more than the 2 wheel dolly, but Its hard to get a non-driving car on the car trailer. I'll...
I'm a long time 80 series, Tundra, and 200 series owner (also Sienna minvan!). I recently acquired a 86 truck 4x4, auto, XCab, and EFI with the usual Timing Chain damage at 170k miles. It was suppose to be a father-son project for my 15YO who will be driving it next year when he gets his...
Quick comparison of the Peerless Z SUV/LT with S clearance (the bare cable wire on the right) to the Peerless Super Z6 (blue covered cable in the left). The difference in the clearance seem to be where the depth of the connector plate that holds the side cables to the tread cable holding the...
