it points to the "Shift solenoid valve SL"
can anyone tell me how bad is this? can I keep driving for a couple of weeks or do I seriously risk my transmission?

last week I was installing my new radio, on my 96 80 series and in the middle of the installation I noticed I lost power on the radio connector and on the power windows so I thougth I blew a fuse.
further inspection revealed fuses to be ok but still no power.
then I plugged...
oil cooler inside radiator.

My oil cooler inside the radiator was leaking atf fluid into the radiator and water into the transmission of my 96´
had to do a complete flush on both systems and replace the radiator, problem fixed...

Funny thing is there are plenty of these locally, no sunroof no awd, no MAF, no lockers, no auto tranny, no power seats and I wanted all of this so I have to wait untill I found a US version vx for sale.
Local cruisers come with dual air, manual tranny, manual locking hubs, dual tanks...
They run fine on regular gas, plenty of those in Ecuador too, regular here is 80 and premium is 87.
I tried to run regular on my 1FZFE and it started knocking pretty badly.
run the same regular gas on a carbureted and it did fine.
I do get 20 mpg with 275´s completely stock driving at 50 mph, try to drive at 60 mph and I drop down to 17 mpg at sea level and straight road.
Driving around town I get 11 mpg.
