I think I found it - link below. Looks like it would be $420ish at current exchange rates plus shipping. Maybe it can be found cheaper elsewhere.
PLEASE - do some research. I did not buy or install this radiator myself and have owned the car for a week and driven it maybe 500 miles. It made it...
I imported another KZJ78 recently - just picked it up from the dock a few days ago. It has what appears to be a new or newish radiator (at least relative to the 29 years on the rest of the car) closely matching the OEM in appearance. I'll attach a photo of the top section with model numbers...
I've had a couple tire sets that just could not be balanced. I could picture the shudder that creates starting a downward spiral if it hit the right harmonic frequency and there were other small problems somewhere in the suspension that prevented the runaway wobble from being dampened.
I just welcomed a new Prado to the family... drove it home from Port of Los Angeles yesterday. Really clean condition - 149K km, fresh timing belt, new tires, and maintenance appears to have been well done (super clean coolant, cooling system hoses look fresh, etc). First step is a replacement...
I'm sure there are better performers, but I installed these headlights and it was a massive upgrade over the OEM halogens.

Ironman and Dobinsons both offer suspension kits specific to the KZJ78. I've had...
+1 on Cruiser Outfitters / Cruiserteq. They have or at least can get many of the parts for a Prado. They're one of my go-to suppliers. Partsouq is my primary other option. Pricing often ends up very similar with Partsouq being cheaper on the actual part but Cruiserteq having much much lower...
Three four options for the tire if you don't go for a swing out bumper:
1) order the tire mount and hang the tire on the rear door. This does add stress to the rear hinges and increases the likelihood of a squeaky rear door, especially if you go for a bigger 33" tire.
2) lay the tire flat in the...
I used a 10W version of that resistor. I would think the extra wattage would just be about the ability to dissipate more heat and shouldn't change the function. If anything, maybe those would better tolerate the heat of the engine bay. I think this is what I used...
That was it! Thanks for finding the link. I should note I only used that video to figure out the fix for the blinking indicator light, not the actual conversion to manual hubs. I used Aisin manual hubs and the adapter kit sold at RADD Cruisers (just a spacer, really). FYI - If you use RADDs...
Does the 77 have the same dual 'hub lock' and 'H4' buttons as the KZJ78?
If so and you really want a solid not flashing hub lock indicator light with manual hubs, there's a mod I found somewhere before - I'd link to it if I could remember where I saw it, but I recall it being a video - where...
What part of CO? My suspicion is shipping would be obnoxious, but I might be driving to CO sometime this spring... likely to the Gunnison / Crested Butte area coming from the south or west. It's unlikely I'd make it as far as Denver, though I guess I could divert.
I've used both Dobinson's and Iron Man on KZJ78s. Both worked great. I can't give a valid ride comparison because I installed Iron Man foam cells over completely unknown springs while the other car got Dobinson's nitrogen shocks plus matched springs (2" kit if I recall). The ride on the Iron Man...
Sorry for the late response… combination of holiday traveling plus not checking back to this thread. Yes, these are still available. Message me directly for a more timely response.
My experience is center mounted cameras are great for approaching trailer hitches. Off center cameras make it harder to tell if you're lining up correctly... you can see the forward/backward alignment well, but you can't quite tell if you're centered. I'd say an off center camera is better than...
I installed these. I've only had them installed a few months, so I have no comments about their durability or longevity, and I've never seen the more expensive versions for comparison...
All the caveats aside, they are a massive improvement over the factory halogen and were less than $100 for...
So I'm likely to re-do my crankcase vent and run a line down into the frame (KZHJ78 with 1KZ engine). I'm about to pull off my intake manifold to clean it out, so may as well fix things to avoid the gunk returning... or at least slow it way down. Questions before I do it:
1) Have you noticed...
Repair Manuals Vol 1 and Vol 2 plus the Electrical Wiring Diagram (EWD) books for a 2002 Land Cruiser. All three are in great condition - no missing pages. I sold my 100 series several years ago and am finally getting round to cleaning out the old stuff.
$100 plus actual shipping costs for all...
Part number 36410-60050 CDL actuator for 80 series. I bought this a couple years ago (I think I paid $600 plus shipping) but was able to get the old actuator to work. I didn't return it at the time because they're difficult to find and I wasn't sure the old actuator wouldn't fail soon after...
