When I rebuilt my 2F, I bought a second rocker bar, had it cleaned and fixed up and then installed it on the 2F. That left the original one, which I found while cleaning my storage unit
So if anyone wants it, just the cost of shipping from 84032, about 15 lbs. Is missing one retaining spring...

Found a box where I placed a bunch of fj60 emission parts when I desmogged.
Here are the pics, don't know what they are anymore (moved to a SBC) but all I ask is for shipping
Was going through my parts bin and re-discovered a remanufactured alternator I bought and installed in my FJ60 then later removed it when I installed a Mean Green.
So as not to have this go to waste, I will offer it here for someone who will use it.
$25 + $10 shipping in lower 48 states...
Didn't know where to put this, but thought it funny and grand at the same time

only issue is the corrosion on the input line to the valve, it is rusted 1/2 of it length.
Still some usable pipe near the valve to put a clamp on it...
I am about to do some painting on the front end body parts and noticed the "connecting" mount points for the bolts, in that they are NOT painted (they have some slight rust I am getting off).
Pondering grounding issues between the parts, I think I should NOT paint those areas, but put sealant...
Pulled the headliner to work on the roof rust

And want to remove the remaining insulation still glued to the roof (inside). Anyone know of or found something that helps remove that stuff?
thanks

As I understand it (and see it) the standard fj-60 has a mechanical fuel pump with an intake line from the tank (via a inline filter), and line to the carb and a return vapor/excessive fuel return line to the tank.
In my swap in of a carburetor'd Quadrajet Chev 350, I will continue to have a...
[UT] 2F engine parts and transmission for sale - good rebuilt head & Trollhole carb
Well, my 1986 2F engine gave out - looks like loss of rings in one of the cylinders since I have a HUGE amount of blowby coming out of the PCV breather port on the valve cover and a bad miss.
See...

I understand there are several types (VR, Hall, Optical, etc) dizzy pickups, but I don't know what type the FJ-60 dizzy uses.
I have tried various searches, but come up empty. I need to know this in my TBI conversion, in building my ECU

Sometime ago, I got a 2nd 2F head for my 1986 FJ60 with 217k miles on it. I followed JimC's counsel and upgraded to stainless steel Chevy valves. My machinist did a great job on it and last weekend (Apr 1-3, 2011) I pulled it and swapped in it. My monday it was running but with difficultly...
Ok, my turn to do a 1986 FJ-60 2F TBI conversion. I have read the other 2F TBI threads and learned much and I appreciate all the work others did and reported on. I have found that after doing various research into a project, there comes a time to put the money on the table, buy the stuff and...
