I just installed the AC Delco 215-153 to replace the VC120 (It had about 80k miles/8 years). I had already had a longer bolt and installing the Delco unit was a 5 minute job.
So, after wrapping the wiring harness, I have no space between the EGR pipe and the harness. Do any of you have space? The harness is wrapped significantly but I’d sure love SOME space there.
I don’t want this problem to happen again (fixing melted wires).

I had an Arizona 1980 FJ40 that I bought in 1984 ($5000) and sold in 1994 ($7500) with 55,000 miles. Bought a 1987 FJ60 a year later with 52,000 miles for $6700 and sold that in 2000 for $11600. Big regrets on both. Not selling my 1995 FZJ80. Nope.
