I have a bag of these from replacing mine a long time ago. They are not exact fit but work well enough. Give me an address and I'll send to you. And then pass the others forward. Or if multiple folks want I can send in envelopes. I think 6 left.

Anyone have any leads on rear lift springs for a new model highlander/kluger? Seems all the major makers like king stopped making them for these vehichles in 2017. Which is unfortunate as even unloaded the rear springs are too soft. Load in a few things and even towing a small trailer at...
Have some extra bits left over after rebuild last year and the machine shop reworked my existing head;
Both Camshafts
Set of buckets/shims
Caps/bolts
Valve Cover
All of this is used take off from a early model 1fz head that I ended up not using as it the bores were more out of line than my...
Finally decided to sell. Again. For the 3rd time. Each time couldn't bring myself to do it. Just no more time to use/wrench with small kiddo and crazy work.
Located in Bend, OR so really just posting here on the off-chance someone has contacts in Bend that may be interested. Craigslist...
After a few years of water draining into my headlights (due to removed wind faring on hood but not knowing I needed to replace the rubber stripping underneath that was removed when it was installed), my headlights were pretty much worthless.
Owning an LX450, my options were as follows:
Order...
Have the following misc bits left over from my engine rebuild. A few things I double ordered (doh) and others i ordered spares and just weren't used. Can anyone make use of this? Not looking to split it up, I'll just toss in a small box and ship (I'm in OR). All parts i got from partsouq as...
Anyone looking to swap their steering box any time soon? I purchased a new one and installed when I did my engine rebuild. I have the original core + pitman arm+ lower link that I saved but would like to get rid of.
This box didn't leak when I pulled it out ( a few years prior I had WTOR...
Hi all,
In the process of rebuilding my 1fz. Finally got the head back today and had a bit of a setback when installing the exhaust manifolds. All the threads in one of the holes completely pulled out. At about 20ft/lb on the torque wrench.
Any suggestions on repair method that I could get a...
I'm in the latter stages of disassembly of my oil starved 1fz. Going to be taking the block to the machine shop in the next day or two, but was curious for those that have done a rebuild with the OS 1 pistons, did you have the crank rebalanced?
My current pistons are toast so trying to do a...
Hi All,
I'm new to the central Oregon area, and I'll be attempting to undertake a rebuild project of my 1fzfe. The one portion of this project I know I can't handle is all the machine work (bore +1, check the deck for flatness, check & polish crank) so I'm wondering if folks have a...
I bought my cruiser at 170k with a fair bit of play in the steering. Went through all the standard steps;
Sent box to wtor to reseal
Replaced Tie Rod ends
etc.
The reseal of the box didn't really help at all with teh amount of play. The adjuster nut is fully maxed out so I don't think...
Its about time to get some newer tires, and ideally I'd like to stick with something in the 285 width, but closer to a 35" tire height. Without going to new rims (keeping the stock 16x8) I don't think there are many options at all.
So, if I go 315/75/16, are there any tire manufacturers where...
All,
Figured some of you might enjoy a quick summary of the first half of my trip through Southern South America in an 80 series. A bit of tech and a bunch of pictures.

I'm trying to track down 3oz tubes of grease that have both moly in them and are rated for wheel bearings (GC-LB). Then I could carry one small grease gun and use for the driveshafts/knuckles/bearings if necessary. Hoping to head to South America soon so would be nice to take along a small...
Hi All,
I'm looking for a bit of information/help on the Longbeach area so posting this in a few of the SoCal clubhouses (forgive the cross posts).
I'm in the final stages of planning my trip to south america (whoohoo) for which I am going to ship my car from California directly down to Chile...

With our rigs getting older and (some of the) wiring getting corroded, I figured I'd start a thread for electrical wiring and terminal part number reference. Not sure if its needed but might be handy. I needed to replace some corroded terminals on my rear blinker/trailer controller wiring so...
