Make sure it’s not a scam.

You are very intent on going long travel LCAs? I know DK and TC are long travel.
Long travel LCAs are not required to run 35s as far as I know. You could get standard length LCAs from Toyota/Lexus.
Tinkerers Adventure on YouTube has a video where he compares DK and another brand (not TC) long...
I love the lightweight backpacking gear.
When I was a scoutmaster for my sons Boy Scouts troop back in the day, I purchased a lot of lightweight backpacking gear for our long term backpacking trip into mountains behind mammoth lakes.
I could fit all my lightweight backpacking gear in a single...
Yeah…the price for the snowpeak entry IGT (which includes the flat burner) is what keeping me from buying.
I just like the fact that there’s a ton of accessories that fit into that table.
I already use a 24x48 folding table that sits like 18” from the ground (height adjustable) as my cooking...
Keeping it simple…I’ve been eyeing the Snow Peak IGT table and flat stove.
It allows you to sit down on you favorite low chair and cook while sitting down.
Snow Peak has a whole system, but I’m warming up to the Snow Peak IGT starter kit.
Okay…I confirmed that my reman cv axles are in fact Toyota oem.
I just don’t know how many miles they had in them prior to rebooting them.
I’m hoping mine are the real deal and last me a while
That’s sucks on the reman ones from Toyota.
I have my reman ones from Toyota sitting in storage for when I’m ready to install.
This story doesn’t give me confidence! I hope it’s an 80% chance they are a good reman from Toyota!
If you Google the Toyota oem part number 43430-60082 or the Toyota reman part number 43430-60082-84, you still find dealers selling either the new or reman part.
Not sure what’s going on…I’m guessing Toyota is making new ones again, so the remans maybe going away. Just a guess...
When I gifted my son my 1996 FZJ80 to go to college, I did slee front bumper, rock sliders, and engine skid plate.
Rear had full factory tow bar that protected the rear pretty good. 2” OME lift.
Removed collision insurance to lower premiums and let him drive the tank!
Order the rock sliders...
Find the TEMS fuse under dash and remove it. I think it’s a 20A fuse. Only one fuse gets removed inside cabin.

What year? There’s differences across the years
On my 2003, I only removed 3 fuses.
I don’t recognize your under the dashboard fuse lid labels B. Mine was not like that. Only one fuse under the dashboard for me. Two in the engine bay.
I’m not going to run a Monte Carlo simulation, but just looking at costs…the 5-tire rotation has to have too many things work out perfectly to maximize the value of 5-tires and wheels.
Things that throw off the calculation:
1. You want bigger/different tires and your current 5-tires are not...
And you can find like new Jeep takeoffs on eBay or FB marketplace that are 255/75R17 for $60 for one. And FJ Steelie for another $60, so there’s ways to reduce the cost of your never rotate spare.
I’ll be looking for another like-new Jeep takeoff soon since my never used spare is now 12 years...
I’m on 285/70R17s and torn on going up to 285/75R17 33.9”x11.2”
Someone on YouTube recently posted that the new KO3 285/70R17 measured 33.3” by 11.1” and that would be close to the size i want and it’s 3-ply sidewall and comes in c-rated at 57 lbs!
double ouch
I’m in the same camp as @Rednexus even run a never used 255/75R17 KM with 2012 stamp (getting old) as a spare in the spare location on FJ Steelie 17x7.5 +14 offset
My other 4 tires are 285/70R17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers that are half worn so about the same size as the spare!
I need to confirm my...
