Ya, that wasn't the best description on my part. Here's a picture shamelessly pirated from a previous thread where someone else needed the same part. (He later posted that he found one)
It's the metal tubes under the battery that connect to rubber hoses, which go to the transmission cooler. Providentially, I was watching the coolant drain (to flush it and put new in) and saw it drip.
I see a few folks have recently gotten theirs from other mudders who had them on the shelf...
Gauges were also different, at one point someone on Mud posted from China and was driving an 80 with just a speedometer and a huge gas gauge where the tach would go.
Took them off in late 2019 when we went to BFG's. The shredded one we tossed, the best one we used as a spare, and that left three. One became a tire swing, which leaves these two. They should hold air, and they have a reasonable amount of tread left. Rubber has some cracking.

Usable condition, I finally gave up looking for 275's. I had a flat that shredded the tire, discovered the spare was also NG, etc etc.
The factory spare is now a tire swing, but I still have two LTX 275's.
They are free, definitely far from new but still have some life left. Satisfaction...
Fixing up the new-to-us farm truck, bought for $1000 with a bunch of known problems.
The air temperature adjustment knob didn't turn smoothly, previous owner used to just manually shift it to HOT in winter and COLD in summer. I decided I'd be all fancy and see if I could make it so I can change...
Been hanging around there. There's a base not too far from where my wife's parents live but the last M101 sold there went for almost 1200 with the auction fees. It did have the bows, but the vinyl top over them was ratty. I'll check back at some point, I hope that's just a short term bump in prices.
Had one LTX fail and discovered the spare was also no good after 20+ years under the truck. The other relatively new LTX is now the spare (I went to ko2's), the old spare is slated to become a tire swing, and that leaves me with two LTX's that hold air. Tread is worn and starting to see little...
Oi, I had a bad feeling this was going to happen. Went to take off my rusted trailer hitch and 2 of the 6 bolts snapped off.
Customarily I would use heat and quench with penetrating oil, then try to use an LH threaded drill bit to remove. Any other approaches people would suggest? I kinda hate...
Sure, I'll give it a try. I don't have a lot of formal training with this so I'll do my best to describe how it works.
So basically, most of us think of relays as switching from OFF to ON when you apply power to the appropriate lead of the little miniature electromagnetic gizmo inside them that...
I personally would vote for used toyota, did not have a good experience when I tried magnaflow. It lasted about 3 years and Magnaflow blamed the truck when it failed, so the 5 year warranty (CA emissions, so it's longer) didn't do anything.
