I guess you could bring them in in pieces or simply buy the body and put it on a different chassis.

The BlueRibbon Coalition, Southern 4WD Association, and United 4WD Associations are aware of this proposal and are working behind the scenes to address it.
Obviously Toyota NA does not feel there is a sufficent demand to go through the testing and marketing process.
It's my understanding that, as an individual, I can not buy one here and have it imported to the US.
