    Events/Trails Smasher Canyon trip 6/11/23

One more casualty was the left rear lower trailing arm. I've had these arms from my '93 sitting in storage for just such an occasion. The early arms are a bit stronger. I put the lowers from my '91 on my '93 and kept the straight ones until now. The '91 arms were already "high clearenced" and...

One casualty was the bumper corner. I'm one step closer to my real bumper now. The Jerry can holder was perfect for the bumper plastic. There were some more action shots. I'll try to post them when I get them.

3 of us made it out today. Had a fun time with good weather. We only did the lower half before detouring down to the Verde River.

    Events/Trails  Smasher Canyon trip 6/11/23

Kind of a last minute event. A friend and I are planning to conquer Smasher Canyon on Sunday. If you've never heard of it, the trail is northeast of Cottonwood. It's been 14 years since the last time I've driven through there. It is a difficult trail. 35's and lockers make it easier. I've put a...

    Didn't check my nuts!

I saw that video when he posted it. It was funny that he was able to see and pick up your nuts off the trail. I think you are supposed to leave breadcrumbs, not nuts that are important, in order to find your way back.

Just thinking of loopholes. If you put some heavy skid plates underneath and you could prove that the "center of gravity" was unchanged would you still need mud flaps?

Events/Trails APRIL Run of the Month - Saturday, April 15, 2023 - Bradberry Cabin loop

For those on the east side of Tucson, Mark and I are planning on meeting at the Circle K on Tanque Verde and departing there at 9am. 11271 E Tanque Verde Rd, Tucson, AZ 85749. It is approximately 30 miles over Redington Pass to Cascabel Rd. I'm optimistic that we will be able to average 20mph...

Not difficult, just potholes from all the water. Gotta exercise those shock absorbers! 10 psi smoothes it out a lot.

Looks nice. What brand rear bumper is that?

Not an expert, but I recall hearing that before too. I believe it may cause it to pull one direction while having minimal effect on tire wear.

I was going to message you that I would be interested in the pre-run but I just found out that my daughter got invited to a soccer tournament in Mesa that weekend.
