    Flashing CEL?

    Again, just a weekend mechanic. I hear people saying disconnect the battery when checking electronic connections. I should have checked the CEL first though. Funny thing is, I think, there was no CEL icon lit up. I only saw it when the key was in the on position.

    What is this part and do I even need it?

    What year is your LC? I have a 94 and failed smog so I removed the upper manifold and cleaned out all vacuum lines and passages. Smog passed. I think you need it for smog in states like California. They look like the vacuum hoses under the upper manifold.

    Took the family for a drive to Glass Beach at Fort Bragg and down the coast on Hwy 1 to Mendocino. Love seeing the Cruiser at different locations. And wine tasting on the way.
