I'm wiring in a pair of Hella 500 fog lamps on to my 2003 Prado. I thought that I would replace the factory fog lamp bulbs with a set from SuperBright LED. They, and RockAuto, list my fog light bulb as a H3 bulb. The Toyota manual says its a HB4/9006. SuperBright and RockAuto also list the GX470...
2003 KZTE Automatic Prado 120.
One morning it didn't start. 12.4V on the battery, down to 9.something with the key turned to start. Just a click. Tried to jump start it, but that didn't work. Disconnected the jumper leads and then hit the key out of curiosity and it fired right up like nothing...
Half way down on a 7hr trip, my 2003 Prado 120 started whistling under load.
No codes. No smoke. No lag. Plenty of power, starts and runs fine...
Any help in trouble shooting so I can start checking would be great... Not familiar with diesels and not with this engine's systems yet....

Motor mounts are the obvious problem, and electrical. How the hell would one get the FE to run in a primitive rig, and what about O2 censors, computer, and the like?
Put some on your 60. If you have a reciever hitch you can get one of those shackles. If you dont, the 60 had holes drilled what will accept tow hooks, use a pintle if you are lucky enough to have the holes in the frame for one of those.
i have two hooks in the back, I had to use them today...
This is my third NAPA in a year... Any ideas if it is something wrong with my 60, or are the NAPA units just junk?
