    Antenna Mast Install Question

    Never mind!!!! Key not to all doing this repair. Using the antenna switch will not allow the mast to retract fully. Turning off the radio worked perfect!

    I'm installing mine as we speak... The new antenna goes in fine but sticks up 4" when radio is off. Do I have to cut 4" off to make it retract all the way??? Thanks
