Maybe it’s a tire issue
This was several years ago but Discount Tire replaced 2 sets of KO2’s in 295/75r16 they couldn’t balance on SCS F5s - tech said multiple times it wasn’t the wheel but the tires
I think most wheel agree (see what I did there) that KO2s have a history of being hit or...
Wow! 37’s are big.
You’re on AHC? With a 1” BL front to back?
I honestly think you got this. Maybe squeeze an extra bump up from the AHC by fabing a bracket and keep the system happy with some AHC ram spacers like @OEMGUY0720
Nice! I’m guessing you’ll finish the bumpers in the same black powder as the wheels? It’ll be a nice contrast
Does the liner separate well when you open the door handles or do you use a blade first? Or are they taped off and I’m just missing it?
Pulled off the highway for gas and spotted a hand wash Carwash. 6 guys jumped on it, 13 bucks and 7 minutes later it looked like this .. wish they were local
Wow, love the outcome
Im surprised at how much rear window visibility you have with a 37” spare . The wheel offset still allows it to tuck up nicely against the truck. Any plans to reinforce the swingout with beefier plates on the interior c pillar ?
@prospeed I may be late but I thought I read somewhere that you were coming out with a 2nd gen rack for 100 that was “longer” so that the side rails went completely from front windshield to back (does that make sense?)
Is that the current model being offered ?
Btw Love your LX All the...
Gotcha! And thanks for getting back to me. I’m removing the Timbrens and installing 4 super bumps - I saw where you trimmed yours, I did not hoping they don’t prematurely contact
So would you recommend upgrading all 4 bump stops or just the front position?
I ask bc I put Timbren in the front (“rear” location) and still get tire fender contact. Should I move them to the front or buy an additional pair ?
Good deal from a good guy - Deep tread on these ko2’s! Check out the nubby guys between the blocks
(Where were you hiding all of these wheel & tire setups? You literally had a closet full of shoes - ha)
Thanks for getting back to me
Would love to see some pics from different angles once you get in dialed in - May take some driving, adjusting, driving, adjusting but it looks like you’re heading in the right direction
I hear ya and agree - although I’ve had NIB 4.88s in the garage for years now - keep thinking one day I may get lockers so holding out ... it was more of a “while you’re in there decision“ but I’ve been DD 35s on stock gearing for over 7 years 😂
when ( if ) I finally install them I may...
Hate to overuse the 😍 but dang buddy - this build is incredible!
Excited to see the diffs open and locker installation process. Regear to 4.88 as well?
1 owner 😍
Someone had $60k at the end of 1999 and made the absolute best decision with it
To say you know the truck inside out is a gross understatement
Looks incredibly well kept, GL
