Finding a parasitic draw...If you disconnect the positive cable from the battery and put a test light between the battery and the cable it will light up if there is a draw. If it does light up you start pulling fuses to narrow down the circuit that has a draw or disconnecting the components...
Finally found my intermittent ignition problem the rivet holdng the wire on the ballast resister wasn't making a good connection. I guess for being 40 years old that's what happens...replaced it and it runs like a champ.

I have done it. they make a tool, so I made my own tool. Then I used a heavy duty ratchet strap to hold the bottle. They are tight but you can get it off. This is a link to the tool.

i used a M/C from a corvette with a 1 inch bore and a 7inch double diaphragm booster from a hot rod shop. i have 4 wheel disk brakes. the corvette master is for disk brakes. no residual check valves. i mounted the booster on the firewall just had to drill new holes for mounting.

silver solder is a lot stronger or you can braze it. what kind of joint is it that you soldered? slip fit , butt joint this is were you get the strength. if you can make it a slip fit it would work the best.

I have a aussie in the front and no problems yet. but I dont wheel that hard you have to know you limitations. the worst thing that can happen is you brake something. good luck

Ive got the lincoln power mig 180c and i like it alot. ive used the heck out of it with no problems.ive done both light and heavy welding with it.

I used LED lights for my signals and had to put a no load electronic flasher most places that sell LED lights sell the flashers. The no load flasher is a timed switch not a load activated switch like a regular flasher.

sorry for the wrong word i did get the seal kit for the input shaft at carguest. i was mistaken on the wordage :doh:. please forgive me o mighty d. anyway it is available and the seal surface is the same diameter it doesn't change because the splines are different. I just did a quick search at...
I bought a sector shaft seal at my local Carquest it is available with out the full rebuild kit. just ask for a mid 70s big body gm car. that's what I did.Replaced it and no more leaks. just make sure the shaft dosnt have any slop in it.
