WOW! I read the build post on your head work. Nice work, this guy does! The price sheet reflects that nice work, too. Hope it performs as well as it looks like it should. You are building an heirloom car with that investment, but it looks great going down the road.
A coat of bedliner may help that tray to resist the effects of battery acid and gas exposure in the long term. Wouldn't be OEM but, like you say, you can't see it anyway...
Met this guy at Home Depot this afternoon. His name is Juan and he and his family had just come back from Stony Lonesome riding all day. Nice guy with a wife and two young kids. I told him where to catch up with the Birmingham group. Maybe we will see him around.
Merry Christmas to all of DLC families and friends. Time for New Years resolutions, and I think we should resolve to be a more active group in 2015. I am certainly one of the most out of the loop members as of late and want to get more involved in the next year.
Have a merry and safe Christmas...
I went by to check in on Lil' Sister Wooooo this morning and she is in good spirits for the trauma she has been through. I had prepared myself to walk in and find her completely bandaged up and incoherent, but she was very talkative and alert. I had the privilege of meeting Mother Woooo, and she...
So sorry to hear. I hope she is in for a quick recovery. She has so many friends, I know she will have a great prayer team working for her.
Was anybody else injured? Where did it happen?
Yeh. All I need is a shop with a heavy duty press and an operator that can read a measuring tape. I know where Carl's is and I will give him a call tomorrow. I called Franklin and they said they could do it for me, but the estimate seemed a bit higher than I was expecting to hear for a quick...
I am putting new seals and bearings on Casey's 4Runner and need to send the axle out to a shop to have the new parts pressed on. Anybody know of a reputable shop that will do the job for less than the cost of a new truck? I took the axle out tonight and the bearing is completely shattered and...
I would stay away from Rhino Liner. I have seen it first hand peel of of the tractors I used to operate. LineX is top quality IMHO. I know a lot of people who have it and it holds up great. IDK how much extra color matching is but it is color all the way through, not just a color coat.
I have used AutoAnything several times and had good service. Never heard of Autoplicity. AutoAnything is owned by AutoZone, so they have a bigger rep to protect.
