I don't know if you all heard but the Morrison trail experienced a lot of rock slides this spring because of all the rain, at least 11 of the switch backs are totaled, forest service says several years till it can be addressed, I think it may be done for good.
I've run that trail both ways and once down in the dark, had my copilot get out and walk, not for the faint of heart, Took my wife over on four wheelers she had fun, she would not go in the land cruiser.
Real Steel was able to get me a bed floor replacement out of south America. It took a while and I think they coat them with a preservative now, worked well for me.
I saw some of the guys rigs camped on the goose lake trail this weekend, no one home, passed the on the way to the end of the trail, still no one around on the way out either, fab day at goose lake a little windy but nice.
Nice 1967 Land Cruiser FJ40 32K
Nice paint job, all metal work on tub completed. Has a mix of years of cruisers, later model Tub with early doors and top but includes flip out windows on the side of the hardtop. Nice upholstery on all seats and even has the original rubber mat for the floors...
I have both, winch will recover you from most problems but if your stuck in spring snow that's heavy and soggy the tracks will help a bunch, you can lift the rig with a high lift jack put in the tracks and the winch will be more productive and you wont have to haul wood to put under the tires...
