    replacing stock lockig hubs '83 fj-60 (HELP!)

    i am/was replacing them with a set of Warn 28771 hubs. pick'd them up off of craigs list for $60 new still in the box ($200 new). the stock hubs that are on it still work fine. should i just clean them up and leave the Aisians on it??? let me know what you think...thanks for the reply!!!

    i am having a tough time removing my stock aisian hubs. the part that i can't get off are the little locking rings that go on before the locking washers and nuts holding the hub body on. these rings have a slit on one side of them but are HELL to get off. can someone offer some help...

    ok but where do i connect it. it is plugged into that rubber boot, but the other end is a thin metal prong that sticks out. at one time it connected to the rail on the drivers side fender, that has since been removed???

    Did you put the 2nd alternator in place of the AC compressor? and did you use the inside track on the dual pulley. looks like it is on the inside pulley. i am trying to do the same. what bracket did you use to mount the alt. to the ac spot?

    that is great. i could use a couple more one showing a more detailed view looking down at the end of the valve cover where it meets with the fire wall. one from directly above and then one from driver and one from passenger. this will help with the hoses that are right against the fire wall...
