Pre Heat Light on 4.2 Diesel in UK
Todd Certainly sounds plausible I have located the timer relay and checked connections on that. But I can't find glow plug relay! The workshop manual I have isn't very helpful. Any ideas? Many Thanks Frank UK- Words: 36

Pre Heat Light on 4.2 Diesel in UK
A plea for help from the UK! I have a 1995 4.2, 24 valve, diesel Landcruiser. The pre-heat light dash comes on from time to time. ??? The vehicle always starts perfectly. :D The light on comes on for a second when cold. But from time to time the light comes on whilst driving. Any ideas...- FrankHatfull

Dan & B Thanks again guys - It WORKS !!!!!! B the article pointed me at descibed excactly the mess my system was in. Its worth the time and effort because a new one is £500 (stirling)!! Dan & B Thanks guys for your help. No the motor did not work when I applied a voltage to it. So I took it out ( what a bast......) I had to chisle all the bolts loose. Dan Front & Centre Diff work fine. Do you know what wire do what on the motor so I can test it? Normally is there a signal sent back to the control box before it get powered up? Thanks Frank- Words: 39
