I am having an odd issue. Replaced oxygen sensors on bank 1 recently due to being stuck lean. Truck running normally for about 2 weeks now but just noticed a new issue. In 4th gear, when accelerating at around 2200 RPM, there is a noticeable surge - power drops about 100RPM repeatedly...
Wife called me today with CEL/VSC TRAC/VSC OFF lights. Got it home and confirmed that the only code on it is P0000. Cleared it. Truck is idling oddly - changes by about 100 RPM every second and idle sounds bad. Plugs are fairly new (less than 10k mi). Any clue what would cause this behavior...
Does anyone know the part number or good source for key blanks? My internals are fine but I jammed the key in the door upon closing and bent the heck out of the blade. Looks like the button face and blade are one part that can be replaced. Thoughts?
Thanks!

Been battling an issue for a week or two now:
1. Battery intermittently working. A couple times now we’ve gone out to the truck and it was either dead or battery was very weak.
2. 2x now in the last week the truck has completely lost power (as in shut off completely) when going around a corner...
Dropped a tire on one and smashed it. Printed on the back is "510". Wheels are 18" but I can't seem to find a PN for a replacement.
Here's a photo. Any help GREATLY appreciated!
It looks like my CDL sensor has failed. I can enable the CDL and feel the truck binding up when turning, so the CDL is engaging, but my VTRAC and CDL lights do not light up. I disconnected the switch and jumped the 2 wires and when the truck is ON now I get CDL and VTRAC lights, so I think the...
Wife noted a "burning smell" after driving. I smelled it too and found this on PS head. Guessing its just the valve cover gasket? Anything else in that area it could be? I'm presuming its dripping off that depression onto the exhaust manifold?
I couldn't find anything online or the manual identifying which line off the cooler was the return line for ATF. So I started the truck and held the brakes then put it in D and revved the engine for a minute or so. I could then feel the cooler of the two and determined that to be the return...
Anyone interested in joining me at Turkey Bay on 7/28? I am planning to take my 5 year old for her first trail run and wanted to see if anyone else wanted to join.
So I am 99% sure I left the wheel key on the truck when I put the wheels on yesterday. I've traced my steps and can't find it anywhere along the road.
Anyways - were all 100's shipped with the same key or are there multiple types? I've emailed Onur to see about getting a set of 4 OEM nuts to...
Take out from my 1996 80. Was working fine but there was some air trapped in it. My 80 is trail only so I just did an ABS delete to simplify system. Fluid that came out of it has always been clean so I believe it is in good shape and did actuate ABS properly during last year's snowstorm.
$50 +...
I've been combatting a mushy pedal since swapping my front pads. Brakes have been bad for a while but became unsafe after front pad swap. Since this is a trail only, I just deleted ABS/LSPV as I'm 99% sure air has been trapped in there for a few years.
So now my truck is a super simple brake...
I'm planning to remove my ABS on my trail-only truck. I'd like to retain the LSPV as I don't have any issues with mine and it seems necessary to retain some of the failsafe dual-circuit functionality of the brake system.
My question is regarding the rerouting of brake lines in the engine bay...
So the auto mast on my 2006 has started intermittently going up and down. Seems to stop before full extension, but not consistently. It also doesn't retract fully. Using the manual buttons it moves but still not full range. There is no clicking or clunking, its just like the motor hits a stop...
So I was cleaning the truck today and noticed a couple brown spots on the bottom of the tailgate... looks like a break in the paint and rust starting. What steps should I take to treat to keep it from expanding?
I'm planning no getting a new truck in the next year. Right now I have an 80 and a 100. The 80 is a trail toy and for budget reasons I'd like to try and keep it off the road as much as possible as it will save me on tires and repairs (trail toy repairs vs. DD repairs are handled differently!)...
So I just spent a hefty sum that I didn't have on tires for my wife's cruiser since they are starting to untread. Bought the tires on Tire Rack and was just going to have them mounted and balanced at Walmart. Now every time I've taken in my other vehicles to any tire shop they go on and on how...
I did a front end rebuild and the truck just feels like it decelerates on coast more than it used to. Front rotors (hub part) are reading 210-220ºF after a freeway and 45mph jaunt. During rebuild, I followed manual to set bearings as well as tighten to 25lb/ft. Fish scale read within...
