You may have blown your brake light fuse. To check, have her hit the brakes while you watch the tail lights. If you don't have brake lights, the fuse is blown. That fuse not only handles the lights, but also the shifter lockout. Hope this helps.
What would you charge to ship the rear bumper corners with the aluminum step plate to Memphis. Please don't throw them away! Let me know. Thanks, Hank

Thanks Safado, I was hoping that I wasn't the only one. Almost 33% over what is called for had me a little worried, enough to do the dipstick check of the knuckle cavities again this morning. I feel better knowing that I'm not the only one. Hank
After a recent birf job(including new inner seals)on my unlocked 92 FJ80 , I am doing several quick changes of the front diff oil to remove the moly grease that was in the diff. The last two times I started with a full gallon and noticed that I used almost the whole thing. I performed this on...
Thanks again Dave! That is the second time you've helped me out and I really appreciate it. I also found another 92 locally that told the same story. Hank

Assuming that the rusty area is in a flat accessable spot, you could use a holesaw to cut a nice round hole that would accomodate an OEM style rubber or plastic plug. It would look sorta factory like that.
The emission labels that go on the underside of the hood were missing on my 1992 Cruiser. I ordered and now have the labels, but don't know which side of the hood they go on. I don't have access to a 92 and the 94 that I saw at the local Toyota dealer had them on the right side above the...
Thanks for the replies fellas. After I got the front shaft back in I kinda figured that I could have locked the center diff and it would have moved. Too late to try it by then, but I still thought that it woud have moved without the center diff being locked. Oh well, live and learn.

My 92 fj80 with 110k has a clunking sound when going from reverse to drive(slack in drivetrain), so I thought that I would drive it with the front shaft removed to try and isolate where the slack may be. After getting the front driveshaft out, the cruiser would not move at all.
Is my transfer...
