I agree with daddybear and have the same experience, MT all my life until my SS FJC. I've have mine since last August and wheeled sand, trails and some mud. Doing the Summit in July. Also wheeled with the Trail Team last September. AT rocks.
Welcome to the forum. I'm sure you have noticed there is a wealth of information to be here. Glad to see another Pacific Northwest Wheeler. There's some great clubs to join, but better yet, there are lots fellow owners that love to hit the trails any time any place. Give me a shout sometime.

My '08 Sand Storm is the first Auto 4x4 I have owned. I am still learning how to wheel it, but it seems to rock crawl just as capable as a manual and lets me concentrate on my line more. I don't miss the rowing down the road of a manual trans.
