really aswesome to see this project pergress... i just popped a nv4500/205 out of a dodge truck getting a full eaton 6 speed swap. the more i look at the nv4500 sitting on the floor the more i am tempted to toss it behind the 4bt next to it and see how well it all fits into a 74 fj40 frame out...
wow, great pic's guys! snapped so few photos this year its sad.. the great weather had me out and about a lot more than any previous year! too much fun seeing the racers and getting some night wheeling in without freezing. Hit up turkey claw Saturday starting around 1am, what a fun way to end...
i run one on my trailer, used it to do some car moving around my property and even pulled a few trees up a 30' deep ditch. no issues at all and the wireless controller worked great. its heavy, slow and a bit of a goof to use but for the cost i cant complain.
i run these tires on my tow rig, there were the only tire with proper load rating i could get at the time. After 2.5 years of use i really have had nothing but luck with them vs. the BFG at's i had before or the Goodyear wranglers even further back. these are 35x12.5r17

I have so many parts left from a previous build i need a body with title to give my parts stash a home. Looking for a fj-40 body with title that's pre 1975. mostly need a body meaning tub/doors/fenders/hood and a top would be great...... don't need axles, motor, tranny or anything else really so...
i had the same issue when i did basicly the same swap on a jeep, i installed a full size dodge truck master, i endedup cuting the rod in to 1/3's and welding teh 2 end pieces together bascily so it could still be adjusted slightly. worked fine.

id pay 150 for all that rady to rock and roll, but so far iv been quoted like 200 for thenukels, hubs only and such.... piecing it together is insane.

nope didt look on line just lcoal (denver area) few guys had soem of the parts but not a,, and they wanted big buks for htem. balh... this stuff is heavy so i figured shippingwould kill me also. but ill give it a try, any sugestons?
