I remember reading somewhere that a 3fe head can be put on a 2f block for fuel injection. Is there any documentation or experience with this? Just interested...
Its me again... I'm also in the process of a rear main seal replacement. sorry to steal the thread, but I now have the oil pan bolts off, rear cap bolts off and some front bolts loosened, and I am still struggling to get the pan off. How could I drop the rear main cap to do a quick seal swap...

of course I took auto shop. My teacher guided me through the process and helped me mate all the surfaces together nicely. I didn't go for the tranny oil seal because I only had so many bits to swap, and I was acheing to get my car back...
I've seen the man-a-fre return kit, but I think a more cost-effective way would be to do it myself. I was thinking about drilling a hole with a drill press through the fill plug bolt ... thread side up so I know I have it centered, buy 2 90 degree adapters and a hose that fits between them...

I'm in the process of a clutch and transfer case resealing job. My problem lies with the rear main seal bracket. From underneath, I took off the two bolts and I just can't seem to the get the bracket loose. Must I take the entire bellhousing off to do this...
