    200 Series - Awesome 50th Birthday Surprise

I really struggled with the wheel/tire combo and what to go with on the 200. I wanted a nice stance, nice drive and a good look. Not too aggressive to keep it comfortable (will spend most of its life on pavement and some backroas). I also did not want to hear too much of a hum on the highway...

    200 Series - Awesome 50th Birthday Surprise

Another quick and inexpensive update which I also have done with all of our 100s. I prefer brighter interior LED lighting so I swapped out all interior lights with new LED bulbs. It makes a such a difference. Some prefer the warmer colors, I personally prefer the cooler brighter LEDs. I...

    200 Series - Awesome 50th Birthday Surprise

Quick little update that saves the paint of the rear tailgate edge from being damaged. I added a Door Edge Guard on top edge of the tailgate. The door edge of my rear tailgate on our 100s have been abused over the years and I wanted to protect the 200 before they got the same treatment of...

    200 Series - Awesome 50th Birthday Surprise

I wanted something other than the carpet floor mats with a little more protection. I considered Weathertech, I have those in my 100 and they are great. I should have done the same with the 200. I went with the Toyota rubber Land Cruiser mats. They are fine and I like the LC branding, but...

    200 Series - Awesome 50th Birthday Surprise

As many can attest the cup holders on the 100s and 200s are one of the few misses by Toyota. So, I wanted to try out the 3D printed cup holders by @bhicks - BH3D Cup Holder. I could not be happier, it fits great and looks the part. Especially love the phone holder location in the front...

    200 Series - Awesome 50th Birthday Surprise

Thank you, agreed I prefer black or darker colors on a 200 but prefer white on the 100s. Just a clip over 130k miles. Thanks man!

    200 Series - Awesome 50th Birthday Surprise

For my 50th birthday my amazing bride of 28 years surprised me with a '14 black on black 200! I know, I know, I am super spoiled in many ways. A big thanks with the help and consultation from @RocketCityCrzrs she found a great bone stock one in Texas. This 200 joins our existing fleet of...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

We've owned this '02 100 for 15+ years and done very little to it other than routine/preventative maintenance, so we made up for it this week. Updated with new Dobinson suspension 1.5" lift, new UCAs, Ironman front bumper + 12k Badlands winch and White Knuckle sliders. I'll add either 1" or...

    Builds 1972 Camo FJ40 build

Over the past year or 2 we have not worked much on our FJ40, we have not had the time and/or other projects were in our way. So, I called in some reinforcements and we've had several items addressed by a new cruiser shop here in town (Huntsville, AL) called Rocket City Cruisers. Rory aka...

Weight of 3 speed transmission and Transfer case

I posted this on our build page but thought this would get more traffic and quicker response. We are going to be changing the clutch on our '72 FJ40 and wanted to know the weight of the 3-speed transmission and transfer case. I've searched high and low and can't find these specs. Any ideas?

We replaced the remaining 4 wheel cylinders so the entire brake system is new, shoes, wheel cylinders, master and booster. We decided to replace the old home made shackles the PO was running with some heavy duty CNCd shackles purchased from @65swb45. They worked out really well, we went with...

    Builds 1972 Camo FJ40 build

Just a brief update. Since my last post we added one of @Racer65 brake boosters, which has done wonders for the brake setup. We also replaced the electric fuel pump with OEM mechanical and replaced the Weber carb with one that is close to stock as you can get. It has never run better. Next...

    Darth Vader Light

@Trollhole I gave up trying to find a Vader light and went with a $15 Indian Motorcycle light that looks similar and functions the same as the original Vader light. I also switched it to LED, as we did with all our lights. INDIAN MOTORCYCLE HARLEY DASH LIGHT X1 BLK BOBBER HENDERSON MODEL A...
