    You're right about that! I had no idea. I spent half an hour trying to split the first round with my axe. I got nowhere. I gave up and rented the splitter.

    I had a couple of dead limbs cut off of our elm trees in the backyard and they left me the rounds. I rented a splitter and made a day of it. Lots of fun.

    Bummer. I have the 10.5's on my Trekker and would've liked to have a 9.5 for the spare. Your 40 looks good, I mean, bad ass with the new meats. I had 10.5's on my daily driver fj40 back in the day. If I remember right, they were about as wide as you could go without needing fender flares.

    The driver was from Venezuela and admitted his English wasn't very good. A lot of sign language was used when loading the pig on the trailer. He said, being from Venezuela, he was familiar with "Land Cruisers" and "2f".:)

    I used a passenger door armrest to extend the center console armrest. I'm not sure that this is a long term solution, but I had the idea and wanted to give it a try.
