I live in Plano, just north of where these trucks are being sold. I am not in the market, but might sell if these are the going rates.

My transmission cooler lines are starting to weep at the transmission cooler, the O Rings are shot. Does anybody know what size they are? I was hoping to replace them tomorrow and didn't want to wait on the dealer to get them....

Hello all!
I have a question regarding my 1990 FJ62 w/225,000 miles. I have my radiator out and am going to put a new seal on the timing cover along with changing the water pump.
On the subject of while you are in there, I noticed the power steering hoses are starting to weep and cannot...
Hello all,
Just went to 4:56's with 31.50 x 10.50 x 15's and have really enjoyed how much better my 90 FJ62 drives. I should have done this years ago, the engine seems to work about half as hard, and around town it does not lug away from stoplights. It is not a ton faster, but so much more...
I was wondering if anyone out there has tried the "Grocery Getter Lift Kit" for the FJ62 sold by SOR.

I am needing new springs and shocks for my 62. Since my FJ62...
Hello all!
I have a 1990 FJ62 and am getting ready to put on the OME medium kit and 33"s. My A440 has just been rebuilt. I need to rebuild the front axle, and both front and rear diff's because they are worn out/leaking.
While I am in there, I thought I might need to re-gear for the...
Hello all,
I have a 1990 FJ62, 215,000 miles. Truck pulls SOMETIMES to the left hard when I come to a stop. Back brakes are good and adjusted properly, I checked by using the ebrake to slow the truck, it stops straight.
During light stops, cannot feel it pull, and only some of the time...
I have read (search is my friend) many of the threads on lifts. I have a 90 FJ62, the suspension is shot. I don't want to spend the $$$ on OEM Toyota springs, and was considering OME, but don't want to kill the ride. This is my daily driver and sees very little off road time.
I do not want...
Hello and Happy Thanksgiving to all...
I have a question, i have been getting a CEL occasionallly for the past year on my 1990 FJ62. It only happens on the highway, and not even 20% of the time there. The code is 28, O2 sensor #2, and the FSM lists about 15 things to check before the sensor...
1990 FJ62, 210,000.
Ran perfectly, then just wouldn't start. Cranks fine.
Used FSM to diagnose, got no spark. Coil good, distributor bad.
Bought a used distributor, installed, it started, but ran very poorly. No power, very rough idle, very low idle.
I had just put it back in the same way...

Does this look correct to anyone? I am getting no spark and guessing this is the problem. That rats nest of copper around the shaft doesn't seem correct to me.

I have gleaned so much wisdom from this site, that I thought that I might try to help out where I can.
I got tired of my oil leak at the timing gear cover, and while replacing the gasket, realized that the shaft on the harmonic balancer was was grooved and allowing the oil to leak past the...
I have a 89 FJ62 with 207K that needs new springs, the fronts are now riding flat and the ride is really poor. It does have new Bilsteins on it.
The truck is a daily driver, no offroad, and I just want to get it back to factory height with a smoother ride. The tires are currently 31.5x10's...
I have a 90 FJ62 with 206,000 on the clock. I have noticed coolant disappearing at a fairly high rate, but nothing on the ground. The truck runs well, very smooth and powerful, it will run 85-90 all day long. No smoke, passes smog easily, but after driving, i can smell coolant as I walk by...
Are these the same other than the bracket at the bottom of the cover that holds the coolant line/hose in place? The replacement gasket from toyota fits perfectly as does the new oil seal.
I dropped my FJ62 cover and dented it in a way that it hits the timing gear (damn). New one is...
In the process of removing the timing gear cover to change the gasket, i removed the power steering pulley bracket to get access to the cover. One of the two bolts on the upper end of the bracket came out with the stud it is attached to. I also then got a coolant leak (about a drop every two...
