Dealer replaced seat!
I had double-trouble.
A "sinking seat syndrome 9there's a TSB on that one), and a worn spot in the upper bolster where the side air bag module is. Wore a hole clean through.
After complaining up to district rep, got seat replaced!
Wet Okole's back on and hopefully no...
Great, fun truck.
+Plusses include the short wheelbase and overall reliability of Toyota.
-Minuses (for some) include the small back seats, rear visibility and the aforementioned not so great mileage.
GENRALLY speaking, aftermarket add-on's are ussually more rugged (and competetively...
I'm a firm believer that what ever crime was committed, should be done to the perp themselves (by the victim if at all possible)~!

I'm just curious if there's a country the sell them without the emmisions equip...or whether you simply removed the charcol box
IMO-Like many "TRD" parts, they are overpriced (cost vs. benefit), but basically "showroom enhancing items". That being said, I like the Bilsteins, black roof and 16" wheels (even though I use steelies, I'll get those alloys on again one day...just w/ better rubber).

I knew the E rating was overkill, but my main concern was extra stress on susp & drivetrain.
After driving on the lighter alloys and D rated BFG's, the ride on the heavy wheels/tires (close to 90 lbs each!) seemed much more stable off road (in my mind seemingly because there's more weight...
E vs D
4x4'ers!! I'm not a hard core, 4x4 guy (just an old Jeep owner). VERY knowledgable about sports cars however! So give me some expert advice!

When i lived in NYC in the 90's, I drove a beat up Yugo around. Nobody ever broke into it or damaged or stole it (except for a bent antenna one night)!
Maybe the owner wnats it to look like a "beater"~!
