MPG I would estimate right now at about 16-17; as far as frame rust goes the rear most cross member would need to be replaced like most but the rest of the frame is in great shape.

Thanks for the input, well stated Kurtis. I agree, looked at receipts last night and compared to what I've spent I think 5 to 6 K would be acceptable. I think I'll put a bit more work/time/money into it and give someone a rig that's a bit closer to a daily driver than to sell it as is and lose...

At the trucks current height one has to wonder why the truck is still SOA. If anything just flip the rear and go OME to match the front height (still SOA). It would at least help the inversion problem (in the rear). Also, it seems like most leaf spring setups have a bit of arch to start with...
Sounds like a potential fan clutch problem to me. not enough air moving thru the condenser. Also, even though the compressor is new make sure the compressor clutch is staying engaged during the warm A/C condition.
