I bought this kit from Joe Katana a few year ago --- I am selling it for what I paid for it -- $2500. new in box, never opened.
I bought it assuming the 73 series I found would not have it, but in the end I found my Unicorn, Inigo.
It is a 12v kit ..... although @joekatana said he should have...
Didn't find much out there about wiring up an alarm on a 70 series, so thought I would make a thread as I figure this out as well as post links to very helpful threads.
Specifically, I am doing this on Inigo, my Unicorn, 1992 BJ73 Spain assembled LC. LHD
I am installing a Viper 3400V system...
Question to the masses… I’ve built swing outs that work in tandem with the ambulance doors on my 73 series. Even though the spindles are carrying all the weight of the door—- if I park facing downhill — gravity is pushing the door to close with this additional weight. Basically, the limiters...
These came on my 73 series. They look new, front and back; and I assumed they were the Toyota part number 42601-60262-03; however, @lynchmob just taught me to count the openings and duh.... they are something else. Anyone know if these are OEM or aftermarket?
Wrapped up with the building so here’s all the extra stuff. Came from a Spain import left-hand drive 1992. 73 series. Had the 2.4 L motor and five speed transmission. Had 123 km on it. So about 100,000 miles. This thing is extremely rust free. All prices are without shipping.
Front and rear...
Set of wheels and tires that came off my 73 series; however, they look great on a 80 or 40 series as well.
I bought from an importer in 2019, and he had just replaced the tires, and it appears the wheels as well, as they are very clean.
Toyota part number 42601-60262-03 I believe in white...
Working on my 45 project and I have an early hood that fits great everywhere, except just does not fit very well in regard to the rear sides. It projects about three eights inch on each side. Has anyone ever tried to reshape this to fit the cowl better?
All joking aside, this seems like it should be an easy question... I am repairing a FJ45 roof that was really beat up, and the piece that mounts to the windshield was off, thus no structure, so I am trying to beat this thing straight and the question came up if it is really stratight or bowed...
@cruisermatt posted the idea in my thread to see if anyone might want to swap a windshield frame with me.
I have a soft top frame in really good condition, but need a hard top frame. Needs one repair on the top, that I can make before we trade...
Anyone interested?
I got this from @Tank5
Anyone seen these or used them in your builds?
Not much info out there on them. I can't find how heavy the drawer slides are rated to in weight. Also, how far out they slide? 110% or 75% slide out?

after building The Foo, I’m always on the search for any 80 Series that’s been body modified, and found this one the other day…. Are they on mud?
Love to pick their brain!!
Anyone know the rules or who to go to ask ????
The question is if you have a rusted out or bent frame and you want to swap frames, what do you have to do ??? cut out the old vin section?
A long journey starts with a single step....
Never even drove a FJ55; however, I find myself here today. My wife that has put up with my land cruiser addiction, patiently watching my 40 build (old blue), then 80 build (FOO), then a few more 80's (LEXI, then Boost), then another 40 (Utah)...
Buyer beware.....
I have given @JDMStanNTopSoft a lot of time to respond, and he has not given any contact, I paid $2800 for a BJ73 soft top back in March of this year, expecting it to take quite some time to get it made and shipped, but I do expect some communication about the progress. I...
Getting interested in adding solar power, now that there are 400W panels and the tarriffs are gone, and the tax credit is going back up to 30%....
Anyone have any knowledge about doing it yourself?

Been working on this for a couple weeks, seems that KCMO is playing dirty once again..... Just sent it out to my clients, but thought to share it with my Toyota Family.....

On my BJ73 - now LS powered, I added a HF winch, and when I ran it to spool in the line, the wires on the car started over-heating. I assume these are the wires feeding power from the alternator.
Anyone have this issue before? Do I need to add larger gauge wire to the alternator?
to be clear...
We have had our 2014 GX460 for several years now (90k miles) and the front end vibration at speed has become progressively worse over time.
Reading threads, most of the time it is wheels, so just had them road force balanced and rotated, with no perceived change.
