    Builds My Father-in-Law's 1980 FJ40

Excellent work on the 40 and the story is great. Rust is the first thing I did on mine, if nothing else applying some rust converter. Helped me sleep better.

    FJ40 Brake Bleeding troubles

Sounds like there is still air in the system as stated. Recently bought this fella, works well. You can see the bubbles being pulled from the lines. https://www.harborfreight.com/brake-bleeder-and-vacuum-pump-kit-63391.html?_br_psugg_q=brake+bleeding+tools

Very interesting truck! Where is the spare stored? Would you mind posting pictures of the interior gauge setup?

What have you done to your Land Cruiser this week?

That is the exact reason I did this! My passenger side has the cracks from overtightening in an effort to get it to stay put. Nice piece of heavy OEM goodness for not a lot of cash.

What have you done to your Land Cruiser this week?

Its the mirror head itself only, modified to fit factory arm via Dremel tool.

What have you done to your Land Cruiser this week?

Factory mirror inspiration from @RevISK . Best bang for the buck since headlight upgrade, Toyota part 87901-55012. Minimal Dremel work to install.

    RevISK’s ‘80 FJ40 - A Girl Named Norman

This/\ no matter how much I tighten my stock passenger mirror it never holds. Thanks for the part numbers. Curious where you ended up procuring the pro cars? Summit seemed to have the best price last time I looked.

40 series put in some highway miles from Atlanta to Old Buzzards Roost trail in NC. Makes you appreciate some highways more than others. Good times!
