Aluminum Shell Camper or RTT On Home Built Trailer

Had this old Datsun truck bed for years. Was able to find a Maggiolina locally for a good price. Used RCI bed rails to keep it. low. Had a custom cover made with velcro for attaching to bed rails. Still a work in progress.

Bush Alpha vs Alucab vs Terrapod

I have one of the first batches of the Terrapod, so been using it for over a year now. Like previously posted, it's built solid, great craftsmanship and holds up in varying weather. Plus USA made. Zero complaints in these departments. So as far as keeping a sleeping bag inside while out and...

Need Help Diagnosing Knock Sensor (P0330)

It is usually the wire harness at the sensor getting fried from the manifold and coming loose or broken, at least both of mine were. One connector just spun in the housing so i knew it was toast and the others connector was fried. I just replaced them and the harnesses since it wasn't worth...

Another what is this for thread...

I have a 95 an don't remember seeing that there, maybe earlier years. My 60 series had a rear window washer liquid bag in that location with electrical plug to control the pump from the dash. Maybe that's what it is.

    Spark Plug Stuck in Insert?

I just had exact same thing happen on #6. I simply reinserted the plug wire with the missing rubber piece and it 'locked' back into the rubber piece. I gently pulled it back out.

    1FZ-FE valve cover torque

Hanes manual. Its translates to about 6.4 ft. lbs. Which is about snug and a hair more, like previously posted. I have a torque wrench for inch pounds, some people don't. The 10mm bolts won't take a lot of torque so be careful.

ARB awning cover starting to deteriorate... any suggestions?

Just replaced mine. $34 or so. The two aluminum halves are just riveted together with the cover sandwiched between. You'll need to drill out the rivets and install new ones.

    P0401 Defeated - with pics

For easier fuel filter removal and install, slot out the rear (engine side) bracket with a dremel or something. This way you'll only need to loosen the inner bolt instead of removing it to get the filter out.
