At what point would you not rebuild your stock carb. I have mine and want to put it back on and ditch the webber but it has some oxidation and has been sitting for a while. So when is a carb to far gone? anyone have pics of what their carb looked like before rebuild?
Ok so I know that a lot of you could care less about road noise and rattles but I was wondering what people have done to get rid of as much noise in the cab. What have been some sources of rattles and such. Im looking for links, pics, stories etc... Lets hear it.
Im looking at getting a rebuilt motor (1F) that has been sitting for a few years. What gaskets would need to be replaced from sitting to long? Would I have to take the motor apart or can I leave most of it as is?

Well I ordered the cheap wiring harness from keep it clean wiring ( $150 www.Keepitcleanwiring.com ) has anyone dealt with this company? Has anyone heard if it is any good. for $150 if it is good then its a good deal compared to painless. if not I will see in a few days.

I want to put in a 5 speed but the toyota seems like its a bit much. I have seen used chevy 5 speeds for less and they have the same splines right? so how hard would it be to use a chevy? would it cost any less? If I had the money I would just put in a 2f with the 5 speed tan and transfer...

well I just got done fixing up my inst cluster, new paint on the needles. Sanded and painted the front cleaned the glass. Put new bulbs in and got them working for the first time since I have owned it. It looked so good. So there I was all happy and thinking how nice it is to get things going...
could someone please take a picture of their weber carb and show me where I can adjust the mixture or could some one tell me how to get to it and what to do. I keep cloging my plugs and its getting old. Thanks for any help.
