    has good spark, good compression,picks up #4 sometimes when cold but when it comes to temp starts missing . any ideas what to look for next ? Don't know much about this truck i just bought it . Thanks for any help.

    Just my .02 $...after reading all the post about the fix...i dug in. 1 1/2 hours later it was done.:) Lot of good info and if i could only add one thing it would be after u get all the inner fender skirts off grab a hand full of the iner fender and bend it out of the way, not so much to kink it...

    As long as the bearing races r OK and the seals will sit tight in the housing the rest doesn't really matter how beat up it looks.

    Kinda answered my own question.....they got here and they were 3" short and stiff as hell, so i'm sending them back.

    Just started my build on my 85 on a very tight budget im thinking about rears up front , how much lift will that give and do i have to relocate the front and rear hangers???? thanks for your info
