I'll ditto the last post and also ask which OME setup. Cruzerman's driving habits are exactly what I am doing probably even in some of the same places.
With all due respect to those that lift their trucks, improve their suspension and go rock crawlin on their days off, I'm inerested in upgrading my stock suspension to improve performance and ride.
Under these constraints....what would you do to improve a mostly stock FJ60 suspension?
Unfortunately the days of knowing everyone in town is gone. My family has lived here for 32 years and we are amazed at how we know fewer and fewer people. If you know maybe where she works or something along those lines I might be able to help.

I need some help with my '84 FJ60. It idles a little rough. Not terrible but it is definately not smooth I would like to see if I can get it better.
To the best of my ability I have looked at all of the Vacuum hoses and they seem to be in great shape. I have not adjusted a carb before but...

First post on this site. Thanks ahead of time for any help.
My 1984 FJ60 idles up to 2200RPM when the Air is turned on. I disconnected the vaccuum tubes to the "idle up switch" and the engine idled down. I went ahead and replace the "idle up switch" and the problem continues.
Any ideas?
