    Check the intake and exhaust manifold to day are flat and straight with straight edge. Have not spray carb cleaner on the TBI base check for leaks but, will use high temp. silicone gasket apply tiny bit on all gaskets when install them back. I use remflex gasket.     Intake and exhaust manifold will be remove to inspect and reinstall to insure good seal with no leaks to see if will solve the issue.....

    I did not do compression test yet.... Where is the vacuum cap you are refer to Michael? My issue is not rough low idling, it is high at 1100 rpm rough idling. Jim, I will call you for more info on the VSS and other items I may needed.
