I think that's been up there a couple months now.. You can probably find about when going back through this thread. Speculation was he got dropped by his credit card processor and he put that message up after he picked up another one. It was down for over a week IIRC.
The other part that baffles me about that is that people are saying that he is shipping the OEM parts but not the WE branded doodads... I'm assuming because they are actually out of stock or being held captive by an unpaid vendor. What's the point of ordering OEM parts from a 3rd party? I have...
Only reason I really stay on facebook is for marketplace and to keep in touch with some old friends. That group is a joke. I'm pretty sure it was the same group that jumped me for trying to sell an 80 series I bought for parts but ended up being too nice to cut up. Was a local truck to me and...
Judges don't normally take to well to the "it's not my fault" defense. I feel for anyone going through his situation but the fact remains a little communication could have gone a long way. Y'all that got stuck with the turbo orders have the patience of Job and I hope you get some kind of...
You must have missed the part where there is still a big backlog of turbo orders AND they have changed status on his website from pending to cancelled with no refunds or explanations offered.
He still hasn't responded to this thread or social media as far as I've seen. I was just responding to this quote. However, before when he was on mud and social all the time it wasn't very out of character for Joey to blame anyone other than himself (supply chain, "problem customers", etc.).
I have read the thread. I guess I should have said I'm curious what the story is now that he STILL seems to be blaming anyone but himself for this fiasco.
While I don't have a dog in this fight I have been following the situation because I have recommended his products in the past... How could he possibly say the slow/no shipping of product and poor communication is anyone's fault but his? I'm just curious.
I'll confirm with the wife that I'm free and post back. Definitely didn't realize it was Easter weekend but should be ok. Power steering is a mess on the 80 right now but I should be able to muscle it through.
This may be a dumb question but when you installed the aftermarket radio did you unplug the factory amp next to the glovebox? If you leave that plugged in without the factory radio it can cause weird issues and interference.
A lot of vehicles have those.. I've used a plastic push clip (the ones that kinda look like a Christmas tree) several times to fix them. It tends to last longer than the rubber ones but not a great option for the OEM everything folks.
