Just curious on your opinions, I have found a 2009 LX570 which appears to be in fantastic condition based on the photos, It has 85K miles and the price is 36K. According to the basic information on the carfax report it was not major damage and appears the repair work was done by the dealerships...
I'm giving up on the 2002 from the original post because the stealer doesnt want to budge on the price yet. I really dont want to go for the LR4 as I plan to keep this vehicle long term and I am afraid of the possibilities of high and frequent maintenance costs. This being said I have found a...
My big question I guess is the engine update and other updates on the 2006-07 model really worth it? I know that horsepower isnt always easy to come by and I will be towing a boat a fair bit so that is my biggest reasoning for trying to hold out for a later model.
Kofoed, I am pretty open to any year Im just not going to pay a premium for anything outside of an 06-07 with low miles and good maintenance history. The biggest issue is truly that there just are not many around in the Northeast. I have two dealerships looking and dont mind paying that premium...
Thanks everyone for the replies. Im pretty sure I will hold off on this one. It is starting to get frustrating though as I have been looking for nearly 6 months for an 06-07 with less than 100K and reasonably priced. That isnt 2500 miles away. Im at the point that I'm even looking at LR4's...
Yah, figuring that its the stealer price, the salesmen may work with me a bit since I have bought 2 4runners, a taco and a tundra from him, but I dont want to pay their asking price for sure.
I've been looking to add another cruiser to the shed and my dealer emailed me yesterday with one they took in on trade. I have really been looking for a 2006-07 with the updated engine. They are asking 22,990.00 for this one and just not sure if I should go and try to make a deal or hold out for...
I am in the market for a new exhaust and really like the idea of the EMS but have been struggling to get in contact with anyone there. Has anyone had luck lately and have a valid contact. Ive tried both members on here as well as the email address listed on their site. I am offshore on a ship so...
I dont claim to be an expert either but do work in the offshore oil industry where we do a lot of rigging and overhead lifting. I think a lot of these WLL compared to BS limits come from such industries where they are heavily regulated by governing bodies like the coast guard, ocea, ABS, DNV...
Crosby and Van Beest both make "4 part shackles" in place of the screw pin they have a bolt, nut, and safety pin. They work very well just a little slower to install and remove but if you want to mount them permanently to your vehicle this is the only option as I would use as the screw pins can...
I agree now that I know it can be done and this is what he initially wanted to do that's why I asked on here. Unfortunately by the time I got back to him because I'm out of the country with a time difference he had already done all the other work.. either way its is now functional and looks...
Welcome to the addiction. Nice looking rig. How is the interior? This site is very good and very bad, only had in the sense that you will continue wanting to add modifications...
