Helping a friend ready a '92 Jeep for his daughter's first car. The hardtop is faded and he wants to paint it the factory look. I am assuming it is just a flat or nearly flat black paint. But I thought I'd ask and see if it something special.
I cannot remember who did the sauce bottling for TAC. I do remember that the company has it bottled and then prints customer labels for that personalized touch.

Wiff's '98 Yukon has been warping rotors at a clip. Get maybe 10K before the shakes set in. Tried OEM, Bembro and other aftermarket rotors and they all suck. Last time I replaced the calipers, thinking they were sticking and causing it to heat up the rotors.
The AP store is always nice to take...

I ordered a reman for a '78 and it came with a data card with testing specs. It says "Maximum output 68amps" That seems high to me. Did the stock ND alternators put out that much? :confused:
I ordered an alternator for a '77 FJ40 and the one they sent is clocked like a 2F alternator(ears at 12 and 6), but the plug on my current alt had a green plastic plug on the alt and the harness. This alternator is off a '77 and came with my motor, so I spliced the pigtail from a later model...
