Got to put my cruiser up for sale, building a house and could use the money. It's a special edition 40th sage with factory lockers. 109k , ALL MAINTAINENCE done with paperwork. Head gasket done at dealership at 89,000. NEw radiator, fan clutch, hoses, alternator, belts, ect. All fluids...
I'm ungrading to J's and slee plates. Anyone want to swap your stock bushing front arms for my one's w/ OME 2 dgree bushings?
I was going to push them out and sell them, but then I'll have to buy stock ones to put back in. You would save 90-100 bucks for the bushings plus whatever it costs to...
I had the caster checked on the cruiser this morning, I'm lifted 850s in the front 860s in the rear with OME correction bushings, ARB front, but no winch. I'm positive 0.5 right and 0.6 left side. I'm thinking of going to slees plates with maybe a upgrade to 850Js so I can level out the truck...
I'm looking at a 3rd set up with a arb but it doesn't have the wiring that comes with the locker, I've never set one up, what all do you need on top of the actual locker? From what I can understand, besides the obvious compressor and air line, I would need the switch setup and some kind of...
sorry to beat a dead horse but I searched and I'm still not clear. I'm figuring out what I need to go to a dual batt. setup and I saw the write up boston mangler has on his site http://www.bajaoverland.com/dualbats.php
I see he's not running an isolator like a lot of guys are. Boston maybe you...
Does anyone have a pic of these, I'm ordering a set of sliders and I don't know if I want the kick out or standard style, Jim said there was a thread not too long ago but I can't seem to find it.
Thanks,
Aaron
I'm going to lift my 99 GMC 1500 Daily Driver and I'm wondering if anyone has had experience w/ longer coils and upper arms vs. taller spindles. It's main use is on road, it's 2wd, so I'm leaning towards a spindle lift to retain the best geometry, anyone have any thoughts? The longer coils...
I tried it to get the glue residue from the wood off, I tried it on the switch panel left of the steering wheel. A small amount and light rubbing got the glue off but it also started to take the black off the plastic, so the search continues on what to use, what do you guys think about wd-40?
2 weeks ago climbing a grade my truck started overheating, it got up to the 3/4 mark (half between where it should be in the middle, and the start of the red) After doing some searching this has me a little nervous. I believe I fixed the problem last weekend by installing my new fan...
is there much difference in a 95 and 97 Lc? I have a 97 and I found a factory manual for a 95. I'm wondering if it would be worth picking up or I should just hold out and save for the 97 manual.
i'm thinking of pulling the side moulding off my 40th and having the sides line-xed up the body line. Are there any holes or is it just stuck on?
Thanks
Aaron
Has anyone shared rims on a 80 and a mini. I need to get some rockcrawler rims for my 85 4runner and I'd like to go to 16's so I can share tires. It would be really cool if I could share rims cause I'm going to put something gnarly on the runner like super swampers and it would be sweet to be...
I'm fairly new to the landcruiser but i know on other types of engines it's popular to eliminate the fan clutch and just have a direct drive for the fan. Has anyone done this or is it a bad idea. I'm about to replace mine and I just want to make sure I'm going with most simple, trouble-free...
I was on the trail yesterday, it was real slow going and the temp was around 90 deg. I shouldn't have but I had the a/c on too. When I stopped for a break my radiator was boiling something fierce, the overflow was puking some out. My dummy gauge never moved. It was still sitting at half...
