Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 285/75/16 , now over 50K and still haven't been stuck - and great wet pavement traction. Would definetly buy another pair of these.
I guess I should have been more specific - are there different sizes AND different styles, or are there different styles that are all the same size/fit? I have seen threads and FAQ's about refinishing and repainting these and thought they are all the same?

So sad - wife (in our 97 FZJ80) was hit by an out of control uninsured motorist 3 weeks ago. Drivers side corner of bumper/fender/headlight assembly/radiator etc. all destroyed. Fortunately the airbag did not deploy even though the main frame support the bumper is attached to was bent a bit -...
thanks for all the suggestion, I am sure I could talk her through the changing of a fuse, especially since it is labeled. But with the Temp and Humidity on the Texas coast - I still need a recommendation on a Toyota mechanic in Corpus. They are going to be there a week and that is no fun without...
well, no change after being turned off 45 minutes. No apptitude for checking all the fuses either. I found this link - https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=90184&highlight=cluster - a bit disturbing as it describes her situation perfectly. Especially the part where it is 100 degrees and the...
I just got a call from my daughter that as she and my wife were driving into Corpus all the gauges went out at once in the crusier. It is a 97 FZJ80, 115K and I really thought I got it al spiffed up yesterday for them to take this trip to the beach. They had been on the hghway for 5 hours when...
Anyone had this problem. Not sure how it could be as the unit hasn't been pulled so no chance for crossthreading. Can it leak from inside the unit. any idea what a new one will cost, or if they are even available.
thanks
I have had the low and high HIR from d.stern for almost a year now. No failures. I do carry a spare of each though. I think, at least compared to what I replaced (I don't know if they were stock or not) - that the high beams are a bigger 'abng for the buck' upgrade than the lows. I drive a lot...
My list, today - since I had the cracked windshield replaced last week.
soon to be hole in drivers seat
Poor sound - especially the POS subwoofer
Centerlock sensor out - no light on the dash anymore, but 4L works fine.
need a 285 spare to go with the REVOs
more cold from the AC, it's hot...
Update - CT scan read completely normal. He isn't in any pain at this point either - EXCEPT I asked him when he last checked the oil and he couldn't tell me... so I go out and check it myself and the dipstick is dry!! New Pain! Drain and refill scheduled in the morning, and no truck priveldges...
HA - he did have some neck pain for a few days - also had belly pain and peed some blood so has had a CT scan. Not looking for a settlement, but if they offer....
My son wa dirive the 84 last week and a "student driver" marked car came to a complete stop in an open intersection to take a right turn. He was fortunatley able to stop before ramming the car but the minivan behind wasn't paying as close attention and rear-ended him. Traffic is usually moving...
I opened my drivers side front door yesterday and simultaneously heard a piece of metal hit the ground as the door kinda flew out of my hand and hit the car next to me - I picked up the steel pin that holds the door regulator onto the door jam, but the regulator ? ? , where did it go. Is it on a...
Was just at the AutoZone restocking my Mobil1 supply and saw this fully synthetic Penzoil 5-30. Is this a new product? It's 1.00/qt. cheaper than the M1. Just wondered if anyone is using it or thinking of switching? Cheers.
I'm using Traveler's here in Texas and pay 1200/yr. for total coverage inlcuding rental car, uninsured driver etc. It went WAY up the last 18 months as I have 2 teenage drivers now - also covering 4 cars instead of 3. I pay ~ 4500 a year for all 4 vehicles.
Well - whatever it is , it is a gremlin now. Drove to Dallas today and in the parking lot at Pappaduex's the truck got pretty hot inside. Now everything is working as usual. I must have a different fob than Burneti - I have a seperate button for lock and unlock and panic.
I haven't figured it out yet, but in consulting the FSM - it's clear as mud. The FSM doesn't even mention the fob? Also, to make things more interesting, I noticed that if I lock the doors with the arm rest lock as I exit, and don't press the fob to lock it - when I then press unlock on the fob...
The drivers side kick panel? The one I spent an hour in 14 months ago when I bought the truck cause it leaked water like crazy every time it rained or I went through a car wash - where I found the sunroof drain hose crimped off and so fashioned a metal sleeve to protect it? FROM the bazillion...
