    Deleting Catalytic Converters 1994 FZJ80

    I deleted one of my cats, went with the magnaflow y-pipe, no name exhaust, and stock resonator and it sounds very nice. Not loud, but a noticeably lower/throatier sound. It's different, but not necessarily louder or annoying around town or on the highway.

    Any disadvantage (hot floor boards..etc) to running the exhaust over the frame vs under as in stock configuration? My rig is primarily a family hauler, however I do plan to do some light wheeling.

    Need New Exhaust

    Here in NC we don't have any emissions requirements. I'm more interested in saving $$$. I'm planning on replacing the y-pipe with the Magnaflow 23120, however, would love to avoid spending another $200 on the additional cat Magnaflow 23622 if it's not entirely needed. Any issues, codes..etc...
