AJ did a great job and sent me pictures as he worked on the GX. I picked up the GX and dropped off my 100 for him to do a bunch of needed suspension work.
The foam strip seemed to work for now. In January, I drove across Mississippi and Louisiana on I-10 raining the entire way and the floorboards were dry.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a mechanic in South Austin to reboot the CV's on a GX470. I have used Land Cruiser Specialists before and AJ's has a lot of recommendations. It is over an hour round trip to the north locations, so dropping off and picking up is close to 3 hrs. Maybe the...
USAA uses Safelight for processing auto claims but allows customers to use whoever, but may not approve the quote if it is excessive.
Your 200 looks sweet but I am sure you have good reasons to sell. I have a hard time selling my cruisers and still have my 100 I bought used 21 years ago. Since...
LPAG did the leak test and it wasn't the windshield. I brought some MD foam and they installed it above the notch around the cowl. I saw this fix in other threads on Mud. They didn't charge me for adding the foam or installing new moulding that I bought. If the foam fix doesn't work then I will...
I used the Manchaca location. The owner seemed knowledgeable about land cruiser windshields. He said they do work for Toyota Autonation. I ordered new trim so when they fix the windshield they can install the new trim. All pieces totaled around $230 including tax and shipping.
Finally got it installed by Low Price Auto Glass but the windshield is leaking. The floorboard was wet this morning on the passenger side. Luckily no electrical issues. I will need to contact them to fix the issue. I will also buy new OEM side moulding. LPAG used the old molding and it has...
I am still waiting to get it installed. Let me know about the molding. I sent you a message.
1st appt was rescheduled since glass arrived broken. 2nd appt got rescheduled due to glass arriving late. 3rd appt I dropped off vehicle and got a call saying the wires were damaged on the replacement...
I am having them install non-oem glass in my 2008. The total price is $389 plus tax. My deductible is $250 but I won't make a claim since my wife had an accident in her car this year.
They had the Vectors for $117 the other day but looks like price is back up to $195. I almost got them but didn't want to buy new tires so I got the 18" rebounds in bronze for $143/each.
Google lens is your friend. Uneek 4x4. https://www.superiorengineering.com.au/Uneek-4x4/uneek-4x4-empire-bull-bar-single-hoop-suitable-for-toyota-landcruiser-200-series-2016-on-34809?manufacturer_id=152&product_id=34809
I was looking at these two. I like the 2nd one since it lights up and has turn signals but I don't think it fits a 2008.

You could get two steering wheel spinner knobs, one for each hand. When I bought my 200 used, the prior owner had one of those wheel spinning knobs installed since he a had a broken arm. I guess I am outside the normal size variation since I can touch an 8' ceiling flat footed and I am 6'2".
I thought they were already being delivered since I saw a white one outside of Denver (Conifer Cafe) in early June. I haven't been keeping up with the production schedule. It did look nice in person.
I drove from Austin to Woodland Park, CO and back recently. I have an '08 and the 200 ran great at 2,000 rpm in 6th gear which put me at 82 mph. This seemed like a good rpm for the motor on the hwy. My old F150 with the 4.6 and 4sp auto liked 80 mph highway speeds. I don't care about mpg. My...
That is a nice MGA. I got to see one up close the other day when my son and I helped push it off the road at the Garden of the Gods. I have seen a bunch of them around Manitou this week.
