    With new found space in the garage, I’m finding it a-lot easier to get small projects done. I swapped in a Fan Shroud, stopped the door rattle, added new hood stops, and swapped mini truck shift knobs for new FJ60 ones. Nothing major, but it feels good to get the 40 in better shape.

    Well, I ordered the VDO fan for a tacoma, which is advertised as 15” OD. Its exactly the same size as the Aisin fan, at 475mm OD. I did more keyboard engineering, and the only other fan I found that maybe would work; is a 1994-1995 4Runner/T100 fan. Past that, I’m not sure what to order...

    Since moving my fuel tank under my 40, I’m left with a space under my passenger seat. To keep it period correct, I want to install a drivers side tool box on the passenger side. I’m looking for the tool box, lid, seat mount, and latches.

    Well; I bought the 1979 fan shroud, and a “422.5mm” tacoma/4runner/t100 (Aisin FNT-005), and low and behold, it is BIGGER than the FJ60 (advertised as 450mm) Fan I removed. I’m genuinely confused now. Maybe the Tacoma fan was mis-boxed? It appears to be ~475mm od. Any ideas or help on this...

    Need to use poly bushing grease to keep them from squeaking. I use energy suspension 9.11104 for trucks that do not have grease-able pins.
