well hopefully in the next few months i may be able to scrape enough change together and buy a lift kit, i'm still not 100% on where i wanna go though, i've obvioulsy read alot about the OME lift and heard nothing but good news and am strongly considering this. however with the new rough country...
i'm planning on taking a trip (hopefully in the early fall late summer) down to Texas where i'm from to pick up my Dad and Mom, their 4rnr and head out to Moab. i've always wanted to go do some wheeling there and i figure theres nothing but distance stopping me. i plan to take 'the fast route'...
2 questions:
has anyone gotten the ENTIRE front suspension setup from them yet, and if so how do you like it? if you only got part please let me know what part you got and what other equip you got working around it.
and
this may be just my inexperience asking, but is it possible/practical to...
i know theres a sticky for techy ideas, but i'd like to try and get some ideas for more utility from the FJc. it is IMO about the most Utilitarian Vehicle out there, very basic but very well thought out, of course there are vehicles that have some really trick things that add to their flavor...
yeah its a bit of a stretch but i'm interested in a TD for the FJc i bought. i know the Parado comes with the 3.0L but frankly the 4.2L is vastly more desirable to me. any ideas of what kind of issues i'd face with either one of these? i assume the 3.0L should bolt in directly with little...
had the shackle taht locks my hi-lift jack to the rack on upsidedown when i went to paragon yesterday... banged around pretty good and left some small spots i'd like to touch up... anyone know of a good touchup paint for this? is this somthing i can (or should) get from a dealer?
hey all, got me a hi-lift jack and i've got it on the stock roofrack. eventually i may replace the rack, but i'm looking for suggestions on how to secure the jack to the rack. i saw a pic on here a while ago of what looked like a special bracket/clamp but the pic was for somthing unrelated and a...
I'm looking into lift kits and i'm needing some up to the minute advice. it still seems that most lifts out there are spaces and this frankly will not do for me. i'm looking for a solid 5-6 inch suspension lift for my truck. i've seen that procomp has a 5.5" lift that looks ideal for me, however...
i think i heard about sombody on this forum putting a 2nd alternator on their FJc. i'd be really interested in knowing where and how he put it on. my understanding (i havent looked because its dark outside) is that there arent any mounting brackets for such a thing. but tbh i'mma need a second...
has anyone seen a really good looking option to replace the dummy switched on the controll panel where the ATRAC and the rear locker are? when i get my lights and air and 110v power i'd really like to use somthing that looks clean and factory for the switches.
in light of the Tornadoes that hit the midwest, Katrina, the Tsunami in Indonesia and other natural disasters that seem to be ocurring more and more frequently (if you turn this in to a "Global Warming thread i'll kill you) i'm putting together a Backpack for that "just incase" situation. many...
i'm realitivly new to the forum and the community as a whole and i see a lot of great parts, but i'm having a hard time actually finding the sites to order some of this gear from. if you know of a great site please post it in this thread, if you are wondering where to get "XXX" please post it in...
hey i was just wondering, does anyone know (like with some reasonable evidence) just how neccisary the high octain "requirement" is? i know that using lower grade fuel will decrease my performance, but i'm curious as to weather or not it would be harmful to use regular unleaded. Some places...
well my FJC is brand spankin new i just put the plates on it today. so i've been readin a little of these forums and lookin at pics and i wanted yalls opinion, where should i start? i've read that the A-TRAC is an easy add on and thats prolly somthing i'll do in a few weeks when i get the time...
